BASE METAL

NOBLE METALS

Noble metal thermocouples offer the advantage of handling higher temperatures and providing greater accuracy than base metal thermocouples

  • Platinum assemblies can handle temperatures to 3100F (1700C)

WATCOUPLE

WATCOUPLE is an alloy 600 and nickel-silicon thermocouple designed specifically to address the shortcomings across the operating range a Type K thermocouple. A WATCOUPLE is more accurate than a class A RTD above 100C (212F) and being a thermocouple has natural advantages, such as having very high temperature limits in small sizes.

Features and Benefits

Improves accuracy by four that of Type K thermocouples.

Eliminates aging effects and provides three times less drift than Type K thermocouples.

Last three times longer than standard thermocouples to reduce preventive maintenance costs.

MICROCOIL

Ideal for measuring chuck, internal wall, chip, heat sinks and circuit temperatures. The flexible probe design positions the sensor tip for optimal surface contact and isothermal response and accuracy.

 

An Affordable Solution for Your Process

The miniature size and low cost of the MID (shown here) make it an ideal configuration for installation at multiple points along your process. The sensor is isolated from the electronics box which allows it to withstand ambient temperatures up to 200C (392F) with cooling accessories.
